EtchCompass uses Documented for this model, Documented with conditions, Blocked and Not verified. We do not label a broad material family as universally safe, and we do not generate power or speed settings from another machine.
Unknown plastics, foams, artificial leather, treated wood, unidentified coatings and mixed composites stay unverified until composition and model documentation are established.
Never use a burn, flame or chlorine-wire test to identify unknown material. Obtain the supplier documentation instead.
Build a controlled material record
Record the supplier and product identifier, composition, thickness, coating, adhesive or backing, intended operation, exact machine/module and current source. Save the vendor settings page or manual version rather than copying an undated value.
Documented compatibility does not remove fume, fire, supervision or maintenance requirements. It only answers whether the source supports that model-material-operation combination.
